For a food processing plant we manufactured six stands for cleaning agent containers used with pressure washers. Each stand, made of 304 stainless steel, has a stable base, an open basket for the container and a drip tray for the dosing nozzle.
The task
The client moved the hall washing hoses from the wall to columns further inside the hall, so the chemical containers needed a new place. The stands had to withstand water and cleaning agents. We therefore chose 304 stainless steel, which performs well in such operating conditions. It is one of the most widely used stainless steel grades in the food industry.
Design and fabrication
We first prepared the design and a render of the structure. The render allowed the client to see the stand before production started. The design provided for a stable base with adjustable feet and an open basket made of rod. The open basket has no enclosed spaces where water and liquid could collect, which reduces the risk of corrosion. In line with the existing working practice, we also added a drip tray for the dosing nozzle to the basket.

How the stainless steel stand was made
Based on the design, we prepared the material and the structural components and joined them by TIG welding under argon shielding. This method produces clean, repeatable welds on stainless steel sections. Finally, we fitted the accessories: the basket and the tray.
The basket and the tray are fastened detachably, so the stand can be adapted to a different container if its size changes. If the cleaning process changes, the structure can also be reused for other purposes. All six stands share the same design, so further units can be made from the same documentation.
Scope of work
- design and render of the stand,
- fabrication of six stands in 304 stainless steel,
- TIG welding under argon shielding,
- grinding and surface finishing,
- fitting of the rod basket and the dosing nozzle drip tray.
We manufacture similar stainless steel stands and other structures for production plants to order, as single units or in series. The intended use, dimensions and quantity can be sent via the quotation request form. More about what we manufacture in our scope of services.
